The Seventh International Cochrane Colloquium—Rome, 5–9 October 1999

Annals is again pleased to be an official sponsor of the International Colloquium of the Cochrane Collaboration. The roots of the word “colloquium” extend back more than 2000 years to the Latin—col, meaning “together,” and loqui, meaning “to speak.” It is entirely fitting therefore that the Seventh International Colloquium will be held this year in Rome, from 5–9 October 1999.
