TO THE EDITOR:
We read McLeod and Hammer's review [1] on zidovudine with great interest. The authors state that there has been one reported case of zidovudine-induced hepatitis [2]. We wish to call to your readers' attention another case, which we reported in 1992 [3], further emphasizing the need to consider this agent in the differential diagnosis of hepatitis in HIV-infected patients.
