Screening for Hepatitis C Virus Infection in Adults: Recommendation Statement

This statement summarizes the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommendations on screening for hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, which are based on the USPSTF's examination of evidence specific to asymptomatic persons for HCV testing and treatment.
