Aspirin for the Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Events: Recommendation and Rationale

This statement summarizes the recommendation of the third U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) for aspirin for the primary prevention of cardiovascular events, as well as the supporting scientific evidence.
